John Rockefeller and Olympia Snowe, would also give the government unprecedented control over computer software and Internet services, threatening innovation, freedom and privacy. Texas set for more hearings on tightening up Voter ID - seems to me that if you add more hurdles to being able to vote you'd have less people willing to do it? Since all forms of ID have some sort of fee attached, wouldn't this be a de facto poll tax?
